Obstetrical Anesthesia

For our obstetrical patients, we have a dedicated group of physicians and CRNAs who specialize in the administration of pain relieving techniques for those in labor. These include the use of regional anesthesia techniques such as an epidural or spinal anesthetic.  Our Obstetric anesthesiologists work closely with both the expectant mother and her obstetrician. Initially we patiently discuss her options and develop a comprehensive plan to suits her needs. In the case of a Cesarean Section birth, should mom desire, we can provide one dose of postoperative neuraxial pain relief that lasts up to 24 hours. Our primary mission is to provide a pleasant obstetrical experience and to ensure the well being and utmost safety of both mother and newborn.
